I originally bought this 1995 Saturn SL2 with full intentions of driving it until the wheels fell off, because i do a bunch of driving in my job. Just learned that I get a business vehicle, so I can’t be counting on this any longer for daily driving. At the time of today, I am still driving it, so mileage will increase. I can assure you that power locks, power windows, and key-less entry won’t ever fail on you, only since it has all manual functions. Yes, which means you have to use the hands and man / woman power to open / close the windows, or even lock / unlock the doors. It drives straight being an arrow and shifts very smooth. I keep the majority of the shifts to a number exceeding 2,000 RPMs for the greatest gasoline consumption possible. I consistently get about 30-32 MPG from the city, and 35 plus while travelling. It’s got normal and “performance” transmission settings. Performance merely changes the shift points, so you can push higher RPMs and get more power / acceleration. I do not really ever utilize this option, but I have tested it to be sure it will work. It does supply the feeling of the car having more pep, simply by helping you to rev the engine higher before it shifts. It was a typical option on all Saturn SL2 appliances were automatic. I’ve had tons Saturns in the past, and the are definitely my favorite. Sporty looking, insane gas mileage, and super reliable. Let alone extremely easy to fix. This is among the diamonds that still has a very long life before it. There won’t be any leaks, and yes it amazingly is among the many I’ve owned, that does not burn oil.
