This Year, I installed a fresh turbocharger kit from Turbo Glide (Australia) and new 2.5 inch exhaust, added boost gauge. And in 2010, a rebuilt H55 5-speed transmission/T-case were installed. Turbo and 5-speed get this to truck an actual pleasure to operate a vehicle, almost all the time difference. Shifting is tight, engine purrs. I run biodiesel when I can fine it, but it runs great on dino too. New clutch, knuckle job/bearings/seals, new brake and clutch master cylinder, water pump, water outlet housing, recore radiator, new radiator hoses rear main seal, installed digital tiny-tach, digital EGT pyrometer, engine mounts, transmission mounts, thermostat, wheel cylinders, drum shoes, had interior roll bar fabricated (NZ market did not have them), improved oil pressure and coolant gauges replaced in factory instrument panel. Front axle is often a Longfield. No rear seats. Wheels: Pacer 310w 16×7 rims, new p225/75R16 Yokohama Geolander HTS (installed ahead of chose to elevate) were being all replaced just before I drove cross-country with it. In general ailment is excellent for your 35 year previous motor vehicle. Interior seats have been recovered in NZ ahead of I bought it, in very good condition. Passenger side seat would not recline, but you may swap out seats for buckets or obtain hardware to allow it to recline. Has first rubber ground coverings, although drivers aspect is do the job via. Cargo mattress is just not rusted. Was re-sprayed in NZ ahead of I purchased it. A nice 10ft paint career with many little places displaying imperfections. I will not see any rotted regions. Body is sound. Challenging top should be refinished, but gutter rails aren’t rusted out so it may possibly all be refurbished and glassed. Weather conditions stripping ought to get replaced.
